Care at St Basil’s
Loving Community
We long to be a community recognisable by our love for one another - a hospitable, generous and sacrificial love energised and sustained by the perfect love we first receive from God, through relationship with him and his people.
We believe a key part of growing in this love is to throw yourself into life together with others, where you can practice giving and receiving it. We’re inviting everyone to play a part in cultivating a supportive and resilient community in which people are noticed, welcomed and cared for! There are lots of ways to get stuck in, but here are three structures within the life of the church that are a great place to start. Click on any of the images to find out more and get involved.
Common
Life Groups
Common Life Groups are designed for deep formation. They aim to be honest, prayerful, contending mini-communities with a set of simple, Spirit-filled practices based on our four-fold common life of God’s presence; loving community; deep formation; and imaginative mission. .
Lark &
Men’s Prayer
On Wednesday and Friday mornings the men and women of St Basil’s gather in the barn at Windout Farm for simple, informal times of prayer and worship. These are often tender and meaningful gatherings in which we spend time waiting on God, sharing our joys and struggles, and upholding one another in prayer.
FRIDAY | 7-8.30am | Join the ladies of St Basil’s, on Friday morning for a morning prayer. Join the WhatsApp group here to keep up to date.
WEDNESDAY | 7 - 8.30AM | Join the men of St Basil's for a time of prayer and worship, every Wednesday morning in the barn at Windout Farm.

By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
