Farming Community

A top priority for us as a community is to love and serve those working in agriculture and living rurally.

Right now we have gathered a core group of farmers and producers and those passionate about the rural community to pray and discern how we can best practically outwork our heart and vision. We long to pastorally support those within our church community and those beyond our church who are most struggling whether that is with debt or isolation or any other challenge in rural life. If you are in need of support or are someone who is passionate about offering support and skills to this ministry to the farming community, please do get in touch by clicking the button below.

Taste & See: Reimagining our Food System from a Biblical Perspective

Saturday 8th June | 9.30am - 4.30pm at Windout Farm

As a community we’ll be gathering together to explore what a biblical perspective on food and farming might look like:

  • How can we as Christians eat and farm in ways that bring glory to God?

  • How can we care for the poor amongst us and the whole of God’s creation in long-term, sustainable ways?

  • How can we reimagine the current broken food system to come more in line with God’s kingdom?

“Taste & See” is led by CACTUS - a charity set up to inspire and equip communities to care for creation in the way we eat and farm.

The day will include teaching, discussion and prayer as well as a special screening of “Faith in the Soil”, an inspiring film about Stream Farm in Somerset, where one family sought to put biblical teaching into practice on their farm.

Starting at 9:30am with tea and coffee, the day kicks off from 10am and includes a delicious seasonal lunch of local produce.

Tickets are £7.50 and available to buy via the button below.
