House

Hospitality has always been at the centre of what we are seeking to build here at St Basil’s - it is why the Open life is one of the four aspects ot our common life. As one outworking of this we have a vision to establish rural or semi-rural houses of prayer, community and transformative refuge. One house will be focussed on men looking to rebuild their lives after being in prison. A second house will be focussed on women experiencing homelessness or vulnerable housing.

Houses

We are at the beginning of this journey and whilst we are on a mission, we are not in a rush. Right now we are in the phase of praying, discerning and consulting experts on how to do these well. Alongside this we are looking to hear from those within our congregation who might consider offering support in the form of time, energy, experience and skill to make these houses work. If that’s you, get in touch here.
